RHOC: Why Vicki Gunvalson Decided To Hire A Matchmaker

 The Real Housewives of Orange County's Vicki Gunvalson is still looking for a relationship after her break. She even sought out a matchmaker.

Even after another rough breakup, The Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson is trying to fill up her love tank by hiring a personal matchmaker. Steve Lodge and Vicki seemed very much in love, but there was trouble behind the scenes. After a two-year engagement, Vicki announced the couple's split back in September of 2021. From the start, RHOC viewers questioned her relationship with the former police officer. After news of the breakup emerged, Vicki revealed that Steve actually cheated on her with a 30-something-year-old woman named Janis Carlson. Vicki even let slip that Steve had invited Janis to her home in Mexico. While Steve denied the claims, he did propose to Janis this past January.

However, Vicki is not ready to throw in the towel when it comes to having her happily ever after. Now, Vicki is putting all of her energy behind blind dates and personal setups. She has never been great at choosing men, so she is finally enlisting the help of a professional.

Recently, Vicki spoke to her partner in crime, Tamra Judge, on her Two Ts in a Pod podcast, revealing she would do almost anything to fill up her love tank. Vicki has turned back to her roots and is looking forward to a fourth date with a Chicago man. Viewers think using a matchmaker makes perfect sense for the wealthy housewife. They'll be able to weed out the problematic options and hopefully set Vicki up with someone nice.

The former RHOC housewife shared that the mystery man is closer to her in age as he is 55. The choice to hire a matchmaker is a bold move for the usually stubborn Vicki. Though she was once married to Donn Gunvalson, they went their separate ways in 2014 after Vicki felt she outgrew her marriage. Vicki then went on to date Brooks Ayers, who turned out to be a con artist. Vicki caught a lot of backlash for her relationship with Brooks, especially after he lied about having cancer.

The mother of two has been extremely open about her inability to find love. As viewers know, Vicki has a long checklist of what she is looking for when it comes to her perfect man. Vicki's main requirements are good teeth, non-smoker, family man, self-sufficient, and confident, among a long list of other traits. Vicki has made it clear she does not want a relationship filled with lies and is hopeful the matchmaker can deliver the perfect partner to her door.
