Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo wears crop top on flight, airline asks her to cover up or get off. Internet reacts

The model was dressed in a black crop top, cycling shorts and a matching long sweater.

Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo was asked to wear a blouse or be barred from boarding a flight to Mexico on Thursday. The beauty queen was headed to a resort named Cabo San Lucas with her sister and boyfriend when the incident happened.

The model was dressed in a black crop top, cycling shorts and a matching long sweater. However, a gate agent from the American Airlines asked her to wear a blouse or be barred from boarding, according to the Instagram stories shared by her sister Aurora Culpo.

“Olivia and I are going to Cabo. Look at her outfit...She looks cute, she looks appropriate, no?” remarked Aurora, according to the Daily Mail.

In another video posted by Aurora, Olivia was covered up in a hoodie that belonged to her boyfriend, Christian McCaffrey.

Meanwhile, Aurora came across another fellow passenger who was dressed in a similar outfit. “See, she looks beautiful but they don’t care,” she said while talking about the unnamed woman who was wearing a blue crop top, leggings and a long cardigan.

The woman in the blue outfit was surprised at the treatment given to Olivia. “That’s weird,” she said.

After boarding the flight, Aurora shared a picture of Olivia’s boyfriend, Christian, with his arms tucked inside his t-shirt. “When you freeze because you lady dressed inappropriately. Exactly how Jack from the Titanic died,” Aurora joked.

The videos shared by Aurora swiftly went viral online, prompting several reactions from netizens.

"Sorry OC, but you were dressed for the beach more than you were dressed for going out in public. Take this like a woman please, no more calling anyone out. When I was 20, I called a market to ask if I could go in in my bathing suit. I checked first. You could have, as well," a user said.

Another user commented,"Not only is it inappropriate, but why would you want so much skin exposed to so many so many surfaces - seats in the airport and on the plane?"
