90 Day Fiancé: Why Jesse Meester's Weight Loss Book Was Pulled From Amazon

90 Day Fiancé's Jesse Meester wrote a book in 2020, but fans won't find it at Amazon. Here's why Intermittent Fasting was pulled from shelves.

The controversial 90 Day Fiancé alumJesse Meester wrote a weight loss book called Intermittent Fasting, and it's time to reveal why that book was removed from the Amazon platform. Jesse was first introduced to TLC viewers when he appeared on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 2 with Darcey Silva, and the Netherlands native quickly solidified himself as a TV villain. With their dramatic and tumultuous relationship playing out for 90 Day Fiancé viewers, most fans were unsurprised when Darcey and Jesse eventually parted ways for good in 2020. They had equally intense attitudes and strong personalities, and Jesse and Darcey accused one another of many negative things, such as drinking too much, manipulating, and being inauthentic.

Although Jesse and Darcey's relationship didn't endure, the two reality stars have continued on in the reality realm, on other programs in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise. Darcey and her twin sister Stacey Silva now star on the show Darcey & Stacey, while Jesse is making his mark as a villain on the shows 90 Day Fiancé: What Now? and (most recently) 90 Day: The Single Life. Besides his recurring appearances on TLC, Darcey's ex Jesse has continued to work hard on various endeavors in the "real world," with varying degrees of success. While the 29-year-old has a large following on social media, his debut book from 2020, Intermittent Fasting, was not exactly well-received by the viewers that propelled him to stardom.

Just a few days after Jesse's weight loss book was listed for sale on Amazon, it was taken down. According to Monsters and Critics, the quick reversal began when 90 Day Fiancé fans started flooding Jesse's literary debut with bad reviews. Jesse announced Intermittent Fasting on April 2, 2020, and by April 5, the TLC star was threatening legal action. In an Instagram Story shared by Morebiggy on Instagram, Jesse wrote that "keyboard warriors," had "left false/defamatory reviews on Amazon without even having purchased my book." Some fans thought that he was implying that Amazon was teaming up with 90DF alum Jesse to get his book back on the shelves. Jesse continued, " We are looking for a US civil litigation attorney to assist in bringing legal action," against the bad reviews that led to Intermittent Fasting being pulled.

It doesn't look like anything has come out of Jesse's search for an attorney. As of May 2022, Jesse's book is still not available on Amazon, although it is still available for purchase at his official website, Jessemeester.com. In addition to Intermittent Fasting, which is on sale for $24.99, fans of Jesse and the 90 Day Fiancé franchise can book a one hour Skype coaching session starting at $360, or an in-person appearance by Jesse for a cool $15,000.

Jesse isn't the only 90 Day Fiancé alum to have written a book after appearing on TLC, as others have followed the same path, including fart jar entrepreneur Stephanie Matto, Tom Brooks, and Yolanda Leak. When he's not traveling the world and enjoying his new relationship with Jeniffer Tarazona, Jesse is utilizing other creative avenues to continue making money. He may not become a fan favorite anytime soon, but there's no denying that he knows how to hustle. Two years later, his book isn't back on Amazon, so it doesn't look like the fans who voiced their displeasure through bad reviews will be punished for expressing themselves.
