MK11: Every Friendship Input & How To Do Them

 Every Friendship input in Mortal Kombat 11 can be used at the end of a match to show affection towards an opponent and finish the match with kindness.

In Mortal Kombat 11, Friendships are one of the fun ways that opponents can express victory over one another, in a much less violent manner. In the spirit of Mortal Kombat, Friendships are the polar opposite of the blood and gore always seen during a match and at the end when opponents perform fatalities. Every character in Mortal Kombat 11 has their own Friendship ending to use, and they're all colorfully amicable.

Rather than referring to the inputs in Mortal Kombat 11 by a controller designation, every input is referred to by a universal Mortal Kombat terminology to encompass all platforms. The terminology replacement is useful to understand when talking about Friendships, combos, brutalities, and fatalities in Mortal Kombat 11. For example, instead of Left, Right, Top, Bottom, all directional inputs are referred to as Back (B), Forward (F), Up (U), and Down (D), and they correspond with the direction a player is facing. A similar concept is implemented for buttons by relabeling them One, Two, Three, and Four to correspond with Square/X, Triangle/Y, X/A, and Circle/B that on PlayStation and Xbox, respectively.

Similar to inputting every character's fatality, Friendships can only be input at the end of a match in Mortal Kombat 11, and they require players to input specific directional and button sequences in order to perform them. Where Friendships differ from fatalities is that all Friendships have their inputs completed at mid-range from the opponent, whereas the distance of fatalities varies for each character because all characters in Mortal Kombat 11 have multiple fatalities to choose from.
